They need to know
Jesus told us to go and tell and make disciples. The world needs to know about Jesus. They need to know of The One who quiets the storms, who can do all things, who loves with an unfailing love, who promises to wipe away ever tear, who will never leave, who takes what the enemy meant for evil and will turn it into good. They need to know! Tell them. Tell them about Jesus.
Tell them what Jesus has done for you. They need to know someone who made it to the other side of grief, confusion, sadness, job loss, cancer, hardships, medical issues, family issues, issues with issues….
They need to know they can make it through. That’s why I write. That’s why I share some of the things I never wanted to share. I want people to know they too can make it through.
Everyone has a story; and they too have a Savior who loves them even with their mess and sin and deep needs. They need to know and you can help. You can be there to point to the Savior.
I think sometimes when Christians are told to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, they worry that it’s going to be a heavy burden.
The amazing wonderful truth about sharing Christ is we are sharing a message lighter than air to a world unable to breathe.
Sharing Christ is shining the light in a dark world to bring the light of Christ.
Sharing Christ is showing The Way to heaven bringing life to those who so need true Life.
Sharing Christ is love inviting others into God’s love.
Sharing Christ helps them know God will be with them to help them through the tragic, through the boring, repetitive life, through the hard stuff, through it all. They need to know. You don’t have to tell them only what you know, tell them Who you know.
Share Christ, He is Who you know. He will help you through and help others through. They need to know. Please tell them Who you know!
They need to know about Jesus. Who can you tell?
“…tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” (Mark 5:19, NKJV)
“Jesus came and told his disciples, ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” (Matthew 28:18-20, NLT)
