Grumbles
It is so easy to get a bad attitude and start complaining and grumbling about life, politics, the economy, people, climate, health issues, the weather, the traffic, anything and everything.
But when we grumble, we lose.
We lose pieces of ourselves and opportunities to notice the good in life. We lose eyes to see God working.
Grumbles kill, steal, and destroy. They kill hope. Steal joy. Destroy attitudes.
Grumbling leads to fruitless wandering blocking God’s blessings.
Grumbles see only the negatives.
Grumbling makes us, and everyone around us, miserable.
God’s way is the best way. When we keep our focus on God, choosing to walk in faith, trusting and knowing He is in control and His loving care transcends any earthly situation, the grumbles dissipate in Christ’s peace.
“Do all things without grumbling or disputing. In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 2:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Philippians 4:6-7 (NASB)
