Shine like the SON
I awakened to the worries of the world. So much evil, so many difficulties, racial tension, political issues, people issues, and the news reporting every bit of bad news they can find. Frustration set in as I thought about how the media distorts and manipulates leaning their reports to meet their agendas.
But then I looked out the window, and through the trees, a golden glow illuminated the morning sky.
I watched awestruck and blessed as the glory of the Lord colored the heavens. Oh yes, God is still in control. Oh yes, good things are happening as the Lord continues to work. God is great, mighty, powerful, and glorious.
The world is darkening, but God’s light is never dimmed, and for those of us who have Christ in our hearts, His light will always shine. Oh, let’s shine like the SON. Let’s allow our lights to shine. Let’s illuminate the earth and the sky with the glory of the Lord.
Report the good news to the world and shine the light of Christ. Oh can you imagine if we all truly shined our SON lights? Oh the world would be illuminated with the beauty and truth of God’s love.
Shine, shine, shine, shine like the SON!
