If today was my last day
If today was my last day…
I would want you to know that God loves you. I would want you to know His grace is available for you.
I would want you to know God is a God of grace, mercy, and love. God is also a God of justice — that person who wronged you, that got away with something very evil, God knows the truth and will repay.
I would want you to know that sometimes God’s children don’t always behave like God’s children, and I’m sorry.
I would want you to know that sometimes people claim to be God’s people, but they are not telling the truth. They lie.
I would want you to know that God is our Heavenly Father, a good, loving, Father. There is no evil in Him. He is kind, compassionate, gentle, pure love.
I would want you to know that hell exists. But God doesn’t send people to hell, God lets us decide. We choose. We can choose to put our faith and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ who offers forgiveness for sins and a way to Heaven, or we chose to turn away. Please don’t risk choosing the wrong way.
If today was my last day, I would be waiting and hoping to see you in heaven.
“As the Scripture says, ‘anyone who trusts in him will never be disappointed.’ That Scripture says ‘anyone’ because there is no difference between those who are Jews and those who are not. The same Lord is the Lord of all and gives many blessings to all who trust in him, as the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who calls on the Lord will be saved.’” ~ Romans 10:11-13 (NCV)
