Finding hope
My friend, downcast and broken, really didn’t want to live. They wondered, what was the purpose in working hard when there wasn’t any reward? What was the purpose in living a good life when everything around them was so bad? The world was imploding, people offended and exploding in anger. Why were they alive when there didn’t seem to be any hope or purpose in them living?
Oh, my friend, you are part of something bigger. Your life makes a difference, you were birthed, placed, and given a purpose that makes an impact and plays a part in something amazing. It’s not about now, it’s not about the past, it’s not about perception, or even what is seen with your eyes, you are made for eternity. And, eternity is alive, living, and real. You are part of something bigger, something beyond imagination, something so wonderful words can’t describe.
Jesus is abundant life, full-joy, hope, peace, and purpose. You are given eternity, a never-rusting treasure, a mansion in paradise, everlasting life without pain, abundant never-ending life. While you are here on this earth, your purpose, every breath you are given, is for a beautiful reason.
I could write for years and tell you the people who came into my life, perhaps only for a second, who made an impact and kept me going. And, everyone you meet, every prayer you pray, every step you take, has an impact.
Satan wants you to think your life is small, insignificant, and without purpose. Oh, but let me tell you the truth, there is no one else like you on this planet, and without you the planet would not be the same.
We need you.
We need your prayers, your testimony, your smile, your encouragement, and even your failures can be used by God to show the grace of God. Oh, friend, it’s so much bigger than you imagine. Your eternal soul is intertwined with the body of Christ that lives, and shines, and brings life in abundance.
Hope is here, now, eternal, beautiful, and wonderful. Hope breathes deep in your soul to encourage, bless, grow, motivate, and explode the joy of Christ within you. Your life is so much bigger than you imagine. Beyond your sight and your circumstances, amazing things are happening.
Keep going friend, because your life is bigger than you imagine!
And now, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know and understand the hope of your calling, the immeasurable, unlimited, surpassing greatness of the power of Christ living within you, giving you strength, courage, comfort, and eternal hope.
“Hope forever, for God will not fail you!” ~ Charles Spurgeon
His Present
Paul prays that the eyes of our hearts will be enlightened to know the hope of our calling. According to the verses below, what amazing truths are you given as a believer in Christ?
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, Who loved us and gave us everlasting consolation and encouragement and well-founded hope through [His] grace (unmerited favor), comfort and encourage your hearts and strengthen them [make them steadfast and keep them unswerving] in every good work and word.” ~ Ephesians 1:18 (NASB), Ephesians 1:19 (AMPC), 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (AMPC)
