You, the one with the hurting heart, who doesn’t want to move forward, who doesn’t want to risk loving again. Oh friend, it’s worth the risk, the hurt, the pain. Though you feel like the walking dead, it’s worth keeping your zombie heart beating.

Jesus is for you, loves you, wants you to trust Him. It’s worth it to trust your heart to The One who made your heart, for Jesus heals broken hearts, He binds wounds. And He doesn’t just heal and bind, He restores and makes new.

Jesus died, was buried, and three days later rose again so that you could live. His resurrected life will resurrect you.

Keep going, it’s worth it to see what rises from the ashes, what is birthed from the darkest moments, what rises from the grave. With Jesus on your side, it’s worth keeping going, it’s worth it, always worth it. One day everything will make sense, the greater purpose will be revealed, and every, every tear will be lovingly wiped away.

Keep going. For one day soon, so very soon… God Himself will rise with healing on His wings and wipe away every tear from your eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things will pass away and He will make all things new (Malachi 4:2, Revelation 21:3-5).
