The evil done to you
Have you been wounded? Has someone done something horrible to you or said something terrible about you? The devil (and many people) will lie and tell you that your life is over, your purpose is over, and you can’t handle “that,” you won’t survive “that,” you can’t make it through another day of “that.”
Please listen to the truth… the evil done to you, or said about you, does not define you, negate or stop God’s purpose and plan for you.
The truth is, You are God’s child and nothing someone else does to you, or says about you, changes that marvelous truth. God has equipped you before you were born to go through everything you will go through. God loves you and will be with you every moment of every day, and He will never leave you or forsake you. God is all-sufficient, and He has all the power, strength, provision, comfort, healing, peace, restoration, renewal, and will provide for everything needed for every “that” that comes your way. Therefore, take heart, you can handle whatever “that” is, because God has every “that” under His loving control.
This is what the LORD says, who saved you, who formed you in your mother’s body: I, the LORD, made everything, stretching out the skies by myself and spreading out the earth all alone. Before I made you in your mother’s womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work. I say this because I know what I am planning for you. I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future. I love you with a love that lasts forever. I have kept on loving you with a kindness that never fails. (Isaiah 44:24, Jeremiah 1:5, Jeremiah 29:11, Jeremiah 31:3).
For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Therefore, be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment (Romans 8:28, Deuteronomy 31:6, Luke 1:37).
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows]. God, and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God (Psalm 147:3, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
The name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. He is your hiding place. He will protect you from trouble and surround you with songs of deliverance. The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. He is your rock, fortress and deliverer (Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 32:7, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Psalm 91:4).
God is your rock, in whom you take refuge. He is your shield and stronghold. And one day very soon, He will wipe away every tear from your eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain (Psalm 18:2, Revelation 21:4).
