Have you ever felt far from God? Far away and yet couldn’t find the reasons for any distance?

I have.

I’ve repented of any and everything I could think of to repent, I’ve begged, pleaded, cried, whimpered, and whined, and still felt far from God.

Then I realized since I’m a Christian, Jesus lives in my heart, and if Jesus lives in my heart, He is always with me. And since I haven’t done any self-heart-removal-surgery that means Jesus remains in my heart even when I can’t feel Him in my heart.

Paul tells us, “And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, ‘Abba, Father.’” ~ Galatians 4:6 (NLT)

Jesus said we are snatch proof. “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.” ~ John 10:28-29 (NLT)

No one (and that means even me) can snatch me out of God’s strong hands

If you are having those moments, days, weeks, months, when you feel far from God, remember the truth that Jesus lives in your heart and you are snatch proof and safe forever in His heart!
