Invincible
I‘ve had my wimpy, whiny, and weak moments. I pictured removing my outer, saggy, skin layer and dragging my woeful little body down the hall. Goodness I miss the days I could lift more weight than several of the body builders in our gym. I was woman, hear me roar. Now I am woman, hear me whine.
The world can be a tough and rough place, and it’s hard sometimes to be brave. However, as followers of Christ, we don’t have to live in fear. We may live in a fallen world with falling bodies, but our inner soul is being renewed day by day. As Christians, we will live forever in the happily-ever-after. We get new bodies and are invincible in Christ.
Soooo as an invincible, shouldn’t we be living an invincible life?
Let’s live life to the fullest, speaking boldly and telling others about The One who offers forgiveness, grace, and mercy. Jesus Christ gives strength to the weary, turns mourning into joy, and death into life eternal. No more hiding in fear, no more worrying about tomorrow, no more timidity.
Through Christ, we are invincible. Let’s be invincible followers telling others about our invincible Savior!
“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NIV), Titus 3:5-7 (NIV).
