God loves you
God loves you – just as you are… wounded, battered, bruised.
God loves you – your past, the hidden things no one knows.
God loves you – your scars that carved and left jagged valleys in your soul.
God loves you – and no one and nothing can keep Him from you.
God loves you and no person, no power on earth, no memory, no flashback, no sin, no thought, no action. Nothing can stop God from offering His healing, restoration, redemption, renewal, and His everlasting, unfailing love.
God loves you and only you can accept God’s forgiveness, His healing, His mercy, His grace, His pure love, His joy, His peace of mind. Only you can accept what God freely offers.
God loves you. Will you choose His love?
“What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are.” ~ 1 John 3:1 (MSG)
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

Lisa, this is a beautiful post on a topic dear to my heart. I especially love your opening phrases about how God loves us in spite of so many things we think disqualify us or make us unworthy of His love. Thank you for the wonderful reminders from God’s Word about His lavish love for us.
Blessings,
Wendy
Thank you, dear Wendy. We are so blessed to have such a loving lavish God! God’s blessings to you, sweet friend!
