Dance of the frail
As disease continues to ravage my friend’s body, the outside world thinks she has no life, no connections, and no hope. Oh, but my bedridden friend, frail as she may be, dances with Jesus. She communes with her Savior. Her body is trapped, but her spirit continues to soar and be free. Her prayers rise to the heavens unhindered by time or space.
Our bodies, our frailties, our lack of certain skills, may hinder us in the earthly, but in the heavenlies things are different. The dance of the frail, the song of the tone deaf, are all beautiful to our Heavenly Father.
Bedridden, clumsy, elderly, body difficulties, do no matter in a dance on The Father’s grace-filled toes. Lack of skill doesn’t matter when in the carpentry shop with The Father. Weakness or inadequacies, do not ever disqualify our Father’s love.
Life in Christ is life in abundance, life with guidance, life in accordance to God’s loving will. Oh, the abundant life given through Christ gives us His power, His strength, His wisdom, His love, to soul-dance forever with Him.
Dance in the grace of Jesus, dance in the love of The Father, dance forever with our forever God.
