Carrier
“Four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. They couldn’t bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, ‘My child, your sins are forgiven.’” ~ Mark 2:3-5 (NLT)
These men didn’t just throw a prayer over their shoulder for their friend. They took action and responsibility. They didn’t just carry their friend to Jesus; they dug through the roof to make sure their friend received help.
Will you do the same?
Will you carry your friends in prayer to the Savior?
Will you carry the lost in prayer, and in your actions, to help them find grace and mercy through Jesus?
When someone is sick and suffering, will you carry them to The Great Physician?
Let’s be carriers, digging deep with faith, to help those who need Jesus.
Mining for Treasure
Does someone come to mind who needs your prayers and your help? How can you care for them today?
Take the time right now to carry them to the Lord in prayer. And, if God impresses on your heart to do more, do so, and as you bless, you will be blessed.
