Rise up!

Posted on March 22, 2025 by Lisa BuffaloeSeptember 4, 2025

Have you ever felt like a nail in the board of life being pounded and pounded by all the bad news, heartache, trials, and sufferings of life?

While in bed praying this morning, I heard in my spirit, “you have the power of the living God within you; rise up!”

I thought of people throughout the Bible who had the Spirit of God come upon them and achieved amazing things. The Holy Spirit gave people the power to prophesy, the power to fight and destroy evil, the power to speak and share the Gospel, the power to do what no ordinary person could do, the power to withstand terrible trials and persecution, and the power to live for Christ no matter what was happening in their lives.

Therefore, remember that God “made us alive together withChrist (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:5-6, NASB). For “those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired.” (Isaiah 40:31, AMP).

Speak God’s truth, share the good news of the grace of Jesus Christ, for you are here for such a time as this; rise up! “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14, NKJV).

No matter what happens, how crazy this world gets, the peace of Christ is in you, for He has overcome the world; therefore, rise up! For in Christ, “…you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, NKJV).

Rise up, and “May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope” (Romans 15:13, AMPC).

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1, NASB).

Running from Shame — Lisa’s latest release

Posted on February 20, 2025 by Lisa BuffaloeMarch 4, 2025

I’m thrilled to announce my latest release is now available.

As my first-fruit offering to the Lord, the eBook is #FREE on #Amazon 02/20/25 – 02/24/25  https://amzn.to/4i5hiXV

Shame drove her away, God’s grace brought her home.

Ashamed and heartbroken, Brooke Taylor ran from the only place she’d called home. As a skilled craftsman, she could fix practically any item, but no matter what she did, she couldn’t fix her past. For ten years, Brooke stayed busy and hid from the world, but when her workplace shut down, Brooke had to make a choice. Would she run again or return to Crawdad Beach?

A wicked hit on the football field changed Tate Tillman’s plans for college and his hope of playing in the NFL. His career choices redirected, Tate crisscrossed the country as a contract welder. When his cousin made him an offer to join him in Crawdad Beach, Tate didn’t refuse. Yet, no matter where he went, that night continued to haunt him.

As friendship forms between Brooke and Tate, will they be given a new start, or will shame and guilt keep them from God’s grace and their future?

Book 9 of the Crawdad Beach Series

Each book in the series can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

“Lisa Buffaloe has done it again. She has written a beautiful love story of God’s grace, forgiveness, and how God’s plans are the best for His children. In a day where sex is thrown at our young people, they need to see God’s ways. I love how Mrs Buffaloe shares scripture and wisdom that people especially need to hear. I think this book was a sweet, quick-read romance.
The novel encouraged me to share with others some of the lessons and scripture woven into this sweet book. I love reading a book where God is so powerfully presented and ends so perfectly as in happy ever after! Great book! Thank you Mrs. Buffaloe.” ~ Cheri Broadfoot

The Ultimate Valentine

Posted on February 14, 2025 by Lisa BuffaloeFebruary 14, 2025

Valentine’s Day can be met with joy or sorrow. Fortunately, I have good news, every day of the week, God is crazy about you. He loves you with a pure, sweet, gentle, compassionate, merciful, unfailing love. He loves YOU!

He loves you non-stop with a non-stopping love. For the lover of your soul, how will you respond?

Will you give God more of your time?
More of your life?
More of your heart?
More of you?

Tell God of your love. Thank Him for the beauty of the sunrise and sunsets. Thank Him for rain that makes crops grow and snow that muffles and blankets the world in white. Thank Him for laughter, for the wag of a puppy, the purr of a kitten.

Thank God for the breath you breathe.
Thank Him that He died that you may live. He gave His all, so you could have His all.

God gave the ultimate valentine — His Son — for you. And you, His valentine, are greatly loved and dearly prized.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.” ~ John 3:16-17 (AMP)

Emphasis added on scripture.
