Running from Shame — Lisa’s latest release

Posted on February 20, 2025 by Lisa BuffaloeMarch 4, 2025

I’m thrilled to announce my latest release is now available.

As my first-fruit offering to the Lord, the eBook is #FREE on #Amazon 02/20/25 – 02/24/25  https://amzn.to/4i5hiXV

Shame drove her away, God’s grace brought her home.

Ashamed and heartbroken, Brooke Taylor ran from the only place she’d called home. As a skilled craftsman, she could fix practically any item, but no matter what she did, she couldn’t fix her past. For ten years, Brooke stayed busy and hid from the world, but when her workplace shut down, Brooke had to make a choice. Would she run again or return to Crawdad Beach?

A wicked hit on the football field changed Tate Tillman’s plans for college and his hope of playing in the NFL. His career choices redirected, Tate crisscrossed the country as a contract welder. When his cousin made him an offer to join him in Crawdad Beach, Tate didn’t refuse. Yet, no matter where he went, that night continued to haunt him.

As friendship forms between Brooke and Tate, will they be given a new start, or will shame and guilt keep them from God’s grace and their future?

Book 9 of the Crawdad Beach Series

Each book in the series can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

“Lisa Buffaloe has done it again. She has written a beautiful love story of God’s grace, forgiveness, and how God’s plans are the best for His children. In a day where sex is thrown at our young people, they need to see God’s ways. I love how Mrs Buffaloe shares scripture and wisdom that people especially need to hear. I think this book was a sweet, quick-read romance.
The novel encouraged me to share with others some of the lessons and scripture woven into this sweet book. I love reading a book where God is so powerfully presented and ends so perfectly as in happy ever after! Great book! Thank you Mrs. Buffaloe.” ~ Cheri Broadfoot

The Ultimate Valentine

Posted on February 14, 2025 by Lisa BuffaloeFebruary 14, 2025

Valentine’s Day can be met with joy or sorrow. Fortunately, I have good news, every day of the week, God is crazy about you. He loves you with a pure, sweet, gentle, compassionate, merciful, unfailing love. He loves YOU!

He loves you non-stop with a non-stopping love. For the lover of your soul, how will you respond?

Will you give God more of your time?
More of your life?
More of your heart?
More of you?

Tell God of your love. Thank Him for the beauty of the sunrise and sunsets. Thank Him for rain that makes crops grow and snow that muffles and blankets the world in white. Thank Him for laughter, for the wag of a puppy, the purr of a kitten.

Thank God for the breath you breathe.
Thank Him that He died that you may live. He gave His all, so you could have His all.

God gave the ultimate valentine — His Son — for you. And you, His valentine, are greatly loved and dearly prized.

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.” ~ John 3:16-17 (AMP)

Emphasis added on scripture.

Sacrifice of Praise

Posted on February 3, 2025 by Lisa BuffaloeFebruary 14, 2025

Life can be so very hard, sad, difficult, and filled with sorrow and pain. The last few days, I’ve been dragging my tail; a sweet friend is in hospice, my neck is messed up and hurting, and my surgeon isn’t sure what can be done. Other family members have gone through surgeries and need surgeries, and other family problems break my heart. Many friends are going through difficult times, plane crashes, and divisiveness, and social media and news spewing venom and hate. Ack! It’s a brutal, hard, depressing, difficult world!

Yet, I know God is good. I know God is always in control, loves His children, and promises to be with us through every trial and heartache. Regardless of what I see, feel, and experience, I need to continue praying and praising God. The Bible reminds us, “The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” (Psalm 50:23, ESV).

“Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name (Hebrews 13:15, AMPC).

Gwen Smith wrote, “No matter what difficult times we encounter, God is worthy of our praise. When we choose to praise, we choose to trust God. When we choose to trust God, the broken world around us lifts their eyebrows in wonder … Sometimes a sacrifice of praise is required. Offer it. We can and should choose to bless His name through the pain, which astonishingly can bring His joy into our hearts.”

“We can hug our hurts and make a shrine out of our sorrows or we can offer them to God as a sacrifice of praise. The choice is ours.” ~ Richard Exley

I’m choosing to offer a sacrifice of praise to God. Will you join me?

“Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation.” (Psalm 42:5, ESV).

“Hallelujah! Praise God in His sanctuary. Praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His powerful acts; praise Him for His abundant greatness. Praise Him with trumpet blast; praise Him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with tambourine and dance; praise Him with flute and strings. Praise Him with resounding cymbals; praise Him with clashing cymbals. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord. Hallelujah!” (Psalm 150, HCSB)

“In the silent times, seek God. In the painful times, praise God. In the terrible times, trust God. And at all times, and at all times, thank God.” ~ Ann Voskamp
