Jesus is in the house!
Jesus “entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house.” ~ Mark 2:1 (NKJV)
Jesus was in the house and people came from far and wide to see Him. The house was packed, so very packed no one else could get inside, but that didn’t stop four men from tearing through the roof to bring their paralyzed friend to Jesus. Because when Jesus is in the house, lives are changed.
When Jesus is in our house (our hearts), change happens. As our lives change, others notice. And oh, that people would see and say, Jesus is in that house!
Allow Jesus in your heart so others are drawn to open their hearts to Jesus.
Is Jesus in your house?
“God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us…” ~ 1 John 4:17-18 (MSG)
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ Romans 15:5-6 (NIV)
Yes! He’s in our house and I’m praying His Spirit fills our house tonight for small group. My prayer has always been that our home would be a place of peace and healing.
Thank you, Lisa. Great reminder!
Praying with you, sweet Julie. Oh that our hearts and homes would be a place where our Lord resides and reigns!
Yes, Jesus is in our heart and home. I want to live my life to please God because pleasing people is hard, we can’t do enough. Thankful that God knows our heart. With him I’m enough. Hope you’re having a great week dear friend. ((hugs))
