Prayer for when the enemy comes like a flood — 10 Comments

  1. So grateful for the reminder of the power of Gods word as I walk through the fire of stepping away from an emotionally and psychologically abusive husband. The persecution has been extreme but GOD is here. I felt His names slippoing off my tongue also as I read your passages above out loud. He is the GOD most high – El Elyon. He is El Roi the GOD who see’s and is watching over us!! Bless you for your powerful prayer.

    • Cynthia, I’m so sorry you have had to go through those difficulties. How grateful I am for our God who cares for His children and provides us with His Words to help us through. Praying for you!

  2. Some ladies and I are studying the power of God’s Word and prayer, the combination bring peace in what ever we are going through. Good post

  3. Lisa thank you so very much for sharing something so profound! The power we can draw from God’s Word and apply through prayer is without measure, and you’ve given such a beautiful example of how to pray and the scriptures to reference – what a gift! thank you 🙂
