I pray for the Holy Spirit to fill me.
But then I started wondering…
am I so full of myself that I can’t be filled with Him?
Heavenly Father, shake me out of me, so I may be filled with the abundance joy of You!
Jesus said, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage. And the disciples were continually filled [throughout their souls] with joy and the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 4:31, John 10:10, Acts 13:52 Amplified Bible)

Something to think about!
JoJo, I’ve been thinking about how we can grieve the Holy Spirit. If I’m in the way of allowing Him to work, I am grieving Him and making a mess of myself.
Time for a little soul searching. I never thought about it in just that way. Blessings!!!!
