I’ve been hesitant to blog, stymied and wondering if my motives are pure. Some hesitation comes from the enemy placing doubts and questioning why I write. Two of my fiction manuscripts are completed and are being presented to publishers by my agent. Other projects are in the works, and my blogs and Website grows in numbers. However, if no one visited my blogs, if my novels never sold, would I keep writing to tell others about Him? If everything went away – if I lost everything, would I still love God? Yes! As Jeremiah wrote, “But if I say, ‘I will not mention him or speak any more in his name,’ his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot” (Jeremiah 20:9 NIV).
