One glance at the world news is enough to give the average person heartburn and a restless night’s sleep. I appreciate the news channels, but boy, wouldn’t it be nice to have a “good news” channel? Only the good news would be reported, like … Across the world, loving parents care for children. People reach out to help those in need. Rescued kitties and puppies given to good homes. Innocent laughter of children bring delight to listening

What if we stopped and did the same in our daily walk? What if we paused and checked to make sure our focus was on God instead of the problems that glare at us all day long? Life would be so much clearer and so much better if we refocused our focus and realigned our thoughts with thoughts of our wonderful God. “Blessed are your eyes, because they see…” (Matthew 13:16 NASB).

I am NOT fond of difficulties. For those of you who

However, I’m still restless. I’m ready to nest. I want all my things around me, my books, my Bible

Trying to shield his son from the horror of their situation, he tells the boy that it is all a game, and the first one who gets scared, loses.
