After a man passed away, his diary was found. Inside were more than twenty listings of specific mission stations in China. Notes indicated he had prayed fervently for revival in each location. After investigation they found God had indeed sent spiritual awakening to each place in the exact order this hidden intercessor had prayed. *

For thirty-eight years a man had waited for healing. And then Jesus walks into his life, “Do you want to get well?”The man’s response… “I can’t, sir, for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” ~ John 5:7 NLT The man never replied to the question, he only gave excuses and reasons for his continued condition. Is God asking you to trust Him, to move outside your comfort zone, to believe the impossible? Can you only see the excuses and obstacles? Is God asking you to do something you don’t think you can do, something that seems beyond your comprehension?

Read more →When Jesus was accosted in the Garden of Gethsemane by a crowd armed with swords and clubs, His disciples scattered and hid. They cowered in fear. Peter denied Jesus three times. Yet, a few days later these same men spoke boldly testifying to seeing Jesus alive. They stood firm preaching that Jesus had been raised from the dead. Women testified seeing and conversing with Jesus. Five hundred people witnessed Jesus alive, and He appeared over a period of forty days before ascending into Heaven.

I’m not throwing stones, because that stone would come back and bonk me on the head. I want to believe, totally, completely, without hesitation, believe God. When God tells me to hold up my hands and let go of all that I hold, I want to be willing.

Why wasn’t anyone waiting in anticipation for His return? Was everyone so convinced Jesus came only to bring an earthly kingdom they couldn’t understand His death was only the beginning? Is He God when your answers don’t come? Is He God when the answer is “no”? Is He still your God? Is He still God?
