Read more →I messed up. I sent a friend a possible devotion for her site, and I realized I can do better. I can give more. I can open my heart fully and let the love of The Father pour through my feeble soul. God has called me to write, blog, and share the testimonies of others to a hurting and lost world. And at times I step tentative, pull back, or go with what is easy instead of diving in deep. I asked my Father for forgiveness. I wrote and asked for her forgiveness. I wonder how Christ feels when we shrink back from something He calls us to accomplish for His Kingdom? “You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body. My righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

Read more →During June I received a summons notice to be available for Federal jury duty in for the entire month of July. Every Friday afternoon, I must call a court recorded message to see if I will be serving on the following Monday morning. Fortunately, I was granted a request to have the week off for an already booked flight to Texas to see family. Scrambling like crazy, I edited my prerecorded shows for Living Joyfully Free for July, then wrote blog and audio posts and placed them in the queue. Guests waiting to be interviewed were placed on hold until August. I couldn’t plan anything. I had to stop.
