A message for you. Someone is hurting and feels all alone. Terrible things have happened. The world can be such a cruel place. My heart aches for you, and I am so, so, sorry. I want you to know you are truly loved. God loves you. He really does. God’s love is not like human love. There is no imperfection with God. God’s love is pure and clean. His love is patient, kind, is not envious, does not boast, and is not proud.

(Photos are up on my Facebook page). The best part was God’s wonderfully, amazing Divine setup. For my all day flights, I had purchased Jim Rubart’s novel, Rooms. I started at the Boise airport and finished when my second plane touched down in Indiana. The book is awesome, and basically a metaphor for how God walks us through past experiences (rooms) on our way to healing and to Him. Wow! God used Jim’s book to prepare my heart.

Someone always loses, and that someone is me! Prayer is a wonderful thing, especially when remembering that God is in control—that requests are heard, and He is sufficient for all needs. Sin, fear, and death. These are the mountains he has moved. These are the prayers he will answer. That is the fruit he will grant. This is what he longs to do: he longs to set you free so you can fly … fly home.”*

Their stone faces remind me, that even in nature God speaks of His love. They are memorials of how God changed, and continues to change, my stony heart. His grace covered my sins. His love broke through my defensive walls. His healing touch healed my wounds. His peace guards my heart through times of trouble. How has God touched your heart?
