Ain’t no problem big enough

Please forgive me for not posting sooner. My tummy troubles have been tough. Fortunately, all is quiet for the moment in the stomach sector, which is a major praise. :) I’m still not running on all cylinders (or hoofs?), but I do know God will take care of me and my family as we continue on our journey. My husband will start his new job in twelve days. The house hasn’t sold. We don’t know how we’ll work out all the details of the move, and Boise schools start their next nine weeks in five days. We want to be together as a family, and my latest health problems seem to make the need more urgent. Fortunately, God is always faithful—regardless of illness or the great unknowns.

There is nothing that can keep me, or my family, from God’s safety and care. And that truth makes me want to break out in my own song. There ain’t no sickness rough enough, ain’t no trauma tough enough, ain’t no problem big enough,
to keep God’s love from me and you!

Boise Bound Buffaloes!

Major Praise!!! We received a verbal offer which looks good. As soon as we get the written offer (Fed-ex’d tonight), we’ll sign off, and get things rolling. Hubby’s start date is April 6th. We are sooooo grateful! We’re going to Boise!!! I’d jump up and down, but that could cause some real problems with my tummy. Woof, what a terrible night! Stomach bugs and Buffaloes are not good combinations. I did get makeup on this morning, but now I’m just a pale painted Buffaloe.

The place we’ve called home for the last eight years is now listed for quick sale. The house and yard are in wonderful shape and awaiting new owners. Monday, my sweet husband should receive the formal offer.
We’ve worked hard to get the house, and us, ready to move. Unfortunately during that process, the Lyme disease gained strength as my energy and stamina eroded. Last night, my health tanked/nose-dived/belly-flopped/crashed and burned.

Major Praise!!!!

Wooooooo Hooooooo! My sweet hubby’s interview went well, and sometime next week he will receive a formal job offer! Major, major Praise!!!! We are thrilled and excited to start the next chapter of “The roamings of the Buffaloe herd.” The last year was a wild ride of constant praying and job searching. I’ll admit there were many tears, lots of begging, and moments of worry. Now as the jobless journey comes to an end, we

Splatting Spam and Flying Buffaloes

Yesterday while working on e-mail, my account inbox suddenly showed over 50 million messages. Yes, FIFTY MILLION! Ouch! Within minutes, my internet service provider closed off my account to all incoming and outgoing messages. This afternoon, thanks to prayer and the super-caped tech guys, my e-mail is now cleaned up and usable. Praising God!! And, my sweet hubby flew for his interview tomorrow. Yes, Buffaloes can fly. He’ll interview starting at 8:00 in the morning

Human touch

Steve Parolini wrote… “I know I’m supposed to discover my true value not in others, but from the God who created me. I get that existentially, and I hang onto as much of it as this imperfect mind and broken heart can. But the truth is, it never feels like enough. There’s something to this life that causes us to ache for significance in the lives of others with skin on.
