My heart hurts. I’m contacted by people in pain and my heart grieves. The other night, I visited with a young woman in a horrific situation. She was ready to take her life. But because I care, because I love her, she couldn’t go through with her plan. She said it would be easier to leave this world and all the pain, but because someone cares, she couldn’t. She wonders how I could love her and why I care. I care because God loves her. The feelings and emotions I have toward my young friend are God given. My heart bleeds and cries for her and the others who suffer at the hands of evil.
